OOC: starting this post close to the beginning since he should have gotten here sooner >.<
Grimly Odysseus strode onto the field and made his way towards the challenger. He hoped this challenge went better than the last and that the rabble, still sated by the chaos of the first challenge, chose to stay home this time. As for the fighters themselves...Odysseus didn't care one way or the other who won. The dynamics of those involved were a mystery to him and though he found the shift from captive to challenger suspicious, Odysseus was forced to concede that he was an outsider with an outsider's knowledge; he knew little of Tyranis besides his questionable mental state, knew nothing of Hannibal and hew knew nothing of Archon besides the fact that he once controlled Abaven.
He shot a disapproving glance at Chaos for his comment but was pleased when the attempt to rile up the challenger went unnoticed by the challenger and his supporters. Good. Let this one go smoother than the last. The way he saw it, Abaven had been lucky to escape the last one without a war. Granted, this time there would be no chance of Abaven getting involved. Odysseus made a point to keep an eye on Acere. He wasn't sure of the man's motives this time around, but if it looked like he was going to start something Odysseus was going to kill the scheme in the cradle on Abaven's behalf.
As a representative of Abaven Odysseus stood on the sidelines some distance away from the groups that appeared to be in support of one party or the other. Abaven was neutral on this front so even if he hadn't been, Odysseus wasn't about to take sides.
