He was happy to know his sister was doing well. Happy, that she was happy. "I would like to catch up some time after this, yes." He kept his gaze on his brother's fight as he spoke. Hoping his brother would be able to pull through and secure a victory. Both wolves seemed evenly matched, however, and it was difficult to say who would stand the victor. He did intend to catch up with Corentine later. Perhaps after he ensured Ty was alright after this whole ordeal. If he lost today, especially after his children having been taken away even if just for a little while, he worried that his brother would fall further into the pit of depression. He had been far too focused on the fight and worrying about his brother and seeing his two of his sisters again that he hadn't immediately noticed the man sitting next to his sister. When Corentine started to introduce them, Cloud's attention turned towards her and her mate.
Cloud wasn't surprised that Corentine had found a mate. She was a beautiful wolf, after all. He felt a slight twinge of jealousy. Just as he did with his brother, but it was a fleeting feeling and it didn't linger for long. Tyranis had children, but no stable mate. Corentine had a mate...did she have children too? A quick sniff test determined that she likely did, but he would wait until she decided to announce that instead of mentioning anything. "Nice to meet you, Brandr. Yes, I might have been gone before you came to Abaven. I ended up sneaking out to hunt and..got lost after that," He shrugged, though a sheepish grin managed to worm its way onto his face. When Brandr commented that he didn't know Ty had a pack, Cloud's ear flicked with thought as his gaze wandered back to his brother. "Yes, it's his second time as an alpha. He tried once when we were yearlings, but it didn't quite work out. I'm sure it was the pressure, being so young and leading. I was Ty's second in command then, too. And there was...a lot of pressure on both of our shoulders at the time." He wouldn't mention the real reason. That was his brother's business, after all.
His gaze moved again to find Derecho sitting pretty close to someone he didn't know. Wondering if she noticed him and Corentine. If she didn't, that was okay. His nose worked well enough that he could catch the faint scent of a pack on the pair, and he sort of knew where the pack was. He would of course, remember to track her down later and see how she was doing. "Derecho looks happy," he mused while slightly leaning into Corentine's shoulder. It felt...nice...to have the comfort of his sister during trying times.
