Poem Destruction

Poem beamed at the young raven with pride as he turned to preen himself. Partially to hide his embarrassment, but also make his feathers shine. He was flying now! He had to look good when his abilities were admired. The two would find their celebration interrupted by a sudden stranger. Poem’s wide blue and lavender eyes widened at the sight of him, but he didn’t look mean. If someone was in the packlands they were good.

Icy white tail wagged in response as he grinned widely at her and the raven upon her hips. He greeted her eagerly, giving her his name after he asked her own. Poem wiggled happily in response. ”Hello, Leonce!” Her voice was chipper as she tried to calm down her puppy energy. She was taught to be polite, when the stranger initiated play she could let loose. ”I’m Poem Destruction,” She beamed proudly, taking her mother’s words to heart. ”It’s nice to meet you!” She finished with a polite dip of her head before remembering her second.

”Oh! And this is Edgar, the bravest raven in Abaven!” She added as she pointed her features towards the black and white bird as he flapped his wings eagerly again.
