It had been a trip, but she’d enjoyed getting to know Caelia along the way. Time was growing short for getting in touch with all the alphas of the various packs that Valhalla was allied with to let them know of her plans for a Festival come mid-Summer. She did wonder if Branch had carried any word to Shaye of these plans, though she had a feeling the Abaven alphess would be expecting it anyway, given their talk the last time Aurielle had traveled here.

Her eyes flicked to Caelia as she slowed to a stop and stretched the weariness from her muscles. She was finally fully healed from her bear encounter and it was nice to have nothing but regrowing fur and deep scarring left of the injuries.

Gwenevere had made requests that Caelia learn from multiple leaders, and Shaye was among those Aurielle thought would be good teachers. Ignatius was one as well. Each of those Aurielle had allied Valhalla with had something good to teach. No doubt Branch would be especially good for lessons in trade and economy.

A brief smile was flashed to the young Adravendi before she tipped her head toward the border, offering Caelia the chance to do the honors of howling for the leaders.
