The wolf named herself Holly, and introduced herself as a novice healer. That was enough to tell Riva that the woman had some interest in the healing craft, even if she was too exhausted and beaten up to see to herself right now.
The woman ate the herbs and moved out of the water for easy retch, and Riva gave the stick a quick wash in the stream before following her. “That contained Meadsweet, Lavender and Ginger” she explained to the woman, “Which is to promote calm as well as to ease pain” she spoke mostly to offer a soothing voice to the woman who looked rather beaten down at the moment. It also doubled as information, if she wanted to take anything away from Riva’s approach to healing.
As the woman settled herself on the bank, Riva would finish sorting through her herbs and pull out the next thing she desired. “This is saltwater with a hint of Trillium, it will sting, but the pain relief should cut out some of that.” she explained, before gently pouring it over the woman's numerous aches, and scrubbing gently at any dirt she saw with some clean moss. She had a lot of little cuts, so it was a decent bit of work to ensure they were all of them clean. “Did someone pull you backwards through a thorn bush?” she gently teased the woman, curious as to how she had ended up like this.
