It didn't take long for Rhyme to meet him on the battlefield, the slate alpha stopping about 15 feet from him. Lips curled upward with a grin at Rhyme's words, head lifting as he assessed the other old man. "Always," He returned the gesture before settling into a defensive stance. His own companions were eager to get things started with Finn practically shaking from anticipation. "Easy boy, remember, this is just a good-natured spar." He murmured. Taking a deep breath, crimson gaze fell on Rhyme once more. "May the best man win!"

He flashed a grin before kicking off, the alabaster male barrelling towards Rhyme. His eyes narrowed on his opponent as he charged. When he felt he was closer enough, Ace sidestepped slightly to his own right as he sought to drive the point of his right shoulder into the joint of Rhyme's left shoulder where it connected to the chest in an effort to strain the muscle and make him stumble back.  Simultaneously, Ace brought his left paw up and sought to slam it down onto Rhyme's left forepaw, hoping to pin him in place, and with the help of the clawed reavers on his feet, make it more difficult for Rhyme to escape.

As he did that, his head would tilt to his left as he then aimed to place a bite against the left side of Rhyme's neck with the intention of gripping his throat and choking him out a little.
