Though she noted the way Cloud's eyes widened slightly, she paid little attention to it. Instead she focused on how his body adjusted to her impending attack, stiffening and dropping into a defensive posture. It didn't halt her own attack, though almost as soon as she dove to grab at his neck, he ducked low to the ground and avoided her attack entirely. Not only that, but his companion rose from his shoulders overhead. Only briefly did she let her attention drift to him before she felt Cloud coming at her from below, his snout ramming into her muzzle from below. The pressure caused her to snap her jaws shut abruptly, but she wouldn't let that completely deter her. Using his position to her advantage, she twisted her head and tried to snap roughly at his scruff - grabbing at him like a mother would her pup, hoping to send him sprawling.
