There was relief that he wasn't going to jump her for "lying". It wasnt completely visible but if one watched there was tension lift from her shoulders. She still felt guilty about leaving her children behind but shaye had what she wanted now. His scoff had her sighing. Both Rhyme and Shaye had spouted that they'd protect her. She at a time had enjoyed being in Abaven but now she felt almost like it would have been better if she'd have been thrown in the volcano by Elias.
