The familiar pattern of Ivy's coat immediately filled her nostrils with the scent of her family out of nostalgia before her sister was even close enough for it to be scented realistically. Her tail was lost from sight, a blur in motion behind her as she smiled and let her crystal eyes wander over her sister's form. She was so strong compared to Moon's frail being, Moon was proud of her and already proud of Kesali for allowing such strength to rise.
Her sister's words made Moon's pale face spread into a smirk as she lowered her head and let the endearment of those words sink in. She knew her sister understood her wanderlust, her need to study and understand this world around her.. and she didn't doubt that her sister understood how much she loved them. She would never run away. Faith in her sister's understanding let her know that these words were sarcastic and stated with love, and Moon was a sponge just soaking up every ounce of it.
She heard heavy steps and her eyes picked up to find her brother walking toward them, immediately making her toes wriggle over the ginseng root beneath them as her whole body visibly shivered with excitement. A soft whine left her precious throat involuntarily as he finally made it shoulder to shoulder with Ivy.
'You made it!' Her ears twitched to the unfamiliarity of his voice, it was a lot deeper than she remembered. So much time had passed, hadn't it?
"Yes, and I am so happy to see you both!" She squealed in response.
He came forward to nose her and that was it, that was her breaking point- she could no longer contain herself and as her brother approached her she released a rumbling happy growl. Her hips lowered closer to the ground and allowed her to raise one of her forearms, nails raking through the fur of her brother's chest so she could grip it for balance and bring herself closer, her nose meeting his in a gentle nuzzle.
Her ears went back and her tail was kept low, it wasn't in her nature to be overly submissive but respect simply poured out of her when in the presence of her Wreckage family and she couldn't help herself. Pride radiated within her; love swelled her heart as it thumped rapidly within, so loud they could probably hear it. She gave a single lick to the chins of both of her siblings before she energetically sprinted back to her ginseng root.
"Though I might not be able to supply you much strength in muscle with my arrival, I have spent my time apart studying the lands of Boreas and what medicines it has to offer. This root I present to you is rare, though can be used in an herbal tea to boost our immune systems and protect us against disease, even those we are foreign to. I have brought it to share with your pack, as well as what I have learned and future studies... should you choose to welcome me." Her voice became softer with those last words, narrow muzzle dipping bashfully as she waited for his admission. She had pretty solid feeling her brother wouldn't turn her away, though she did not want to get ahead of herself. After all, she'd been gone for.. quite awhile.
