Lion's Teeth

When the summon for his son rang, Elias' own curiosity would not allow him to remain idle. The Oracle had been missing in healing for the past couple seasons, fighting his 'mind-blight' as his son called it. He did not expect the first time searching for his son since his arrival would be witnessing him in action, defending his pack, but here they were.
Elias' singular ruby glared into the soul of the pale wolf that it locked on, his jaws parting slightly as a low growl rumbled through-out his behemoth chest instinctively. Tyranis had yet to make an appearance, though the fur along the Praetor's mantle prickled as he anticipated his blood's arrival. He never had the chance to teach Tyranis how to fight, though... he knew these things ran deep in their lineage. Instincts and demons would guide him, and if not... well, Tyranis was never worthy.
Black talons gripped the grass of the battlefield as he flagged his tail upright, ears held back as he snarled in the direction of this unknown stranger. No matter what his reasoning for the challenge, Elias did not care- such disrespect enraged him and if Tyranis did not pull this man's trachea out and eat it for even thinking of disgracing their family, Elias would.
It'd been a while since he'd fed on another wolf, and the reaping season was just around the corner.
Disclaimer: Elias suffers from schizophrenia and occasionally has violent outbursts.
