Lion's Teeth
Medea's head lifted as she heard a familiar voice ringing faintly through the forest she'd made her home. Her brows lifting in surprise. She hadn't been sure when, or even if Pegasus was going to make a move but it seemed he had finally done so. Medea slid from the den, stretching herself and shaking the dirt from her pelt. So much for her lazy day. Then the princess sought out her sister, tracking the smaller woman through the trees. "It's Peg!" She said, even knowing Sphinx no doubt had heard the call and knew as well as she did. "What do you say we go cheer him on?" She asked, knowing full well her sister was likely to follow regardless. Then she made the trek towards the call, arriving to see her brother and- Medea stopped short. Was that a rainbow on that smaller boy's back? For all the beauty and surprises she'd seen in these lands thus far nothing could have prepared her for this! Collecting herself Medea approached the opposite side of her brother, the one without the unknown rainbow wolf. Aiming to playfully jostle her brother, standing shoulder to shoulder with him. "Long time no see." She teased, her gaze sliding over him to look at the strange rainbow companion her brother had. He gaped up at her for a moment then flashed her a smile, his attention clearly pulled towards the only other stranger on the field right now. She noticed the way he shifted his weight as if anxious. A friend then? Then she finally deigned to look at the man facing them, her gaze running over his smaller form with practiced blankness. He seemed angry, maybe even furious but he didn't appear to be making any moves to rise to the challenge. Not who Pegasus' target was then.
