Lion's Teeth
Well this day was just full of surprises, a familiar scent reached her and Medea turned to see her brother Chrysanthos bounding towards her. A smile split her face and she matched his wagging tail, lifting a forepaw to try and pull her shorter brother into an embrace. "I'm doing fine." She said, winking quickly at her brother. "I assume you're also doing well?" She ran her gaze over her brother looking him over for any sign of injury or the like. It seemed they wouldn't be given much chance to reunite however as another man would approach and after only a short few words the violence would begin, with Medea jolting out of the way. She frowned, feeling anger at such a brutal attack being launched while Pegasus had tried to speak. She followed the fighting with a frown, settling uncomfortably on her haunches. There was movement at the other end of the feild, two more wolves approaching clearly aligned with her brother's opponent. For a brief moment her brows lifted in surprise. Cloudburst! She gave the quickest and smallest nod she could, a brief acknowledgement of him. But then her attention would remain on the fight. Well at least until Orthos arrived, she watched him collapse beside Chrysanthos and spoke, his words as crude as ever. Medea only rolled her eyes, silently pleased to at last know her brother was alright but her concern for Pegasus overwhelming her otherwise. Finally it would end and Pegasus would submit, Medea released a breath she didn't know she was holding. Even then though it seemed their story would not end here, with the black and grey man just giving up his lands, after all that? The rainbow boy yelled and Medea watched him in wide-eyed surprise; then curiosity rolled over her. The boy certainly seemed concerned for her brother but his outburst struck her as... a bit much. "Something tells me we're going to need that." Medea said, nodding to the bundle of herbs her brother had brought with him, then she rose to her paws and calmly trotted over to the prone form of her brother. She only just caught what the rainbow boy muttered to Pegasus. She thought back to what the defender had said and wondered if there was some merit to what the boy was saying. She settled herself near Pegasus' haunches, seating herself. "If it helps at all, there is someplace I'd be interested in staying." She said, not really looking at her brother. Her tone even, hiding the confusion and conflicting feelings swirling inside her. She was happy that Pegasus was alive, and that in the end, his conquest had ended in them gaining the pack they'd need for their revenge. But it hadn't exactly been easy to watch her brother be ripped into like that, and something about the way the rainbow stranger acted around her brother put her off.
