Skaelingr Pyre

Skaelingr had to admit he was surprised when his opponent didn't move but he supposed he shouldn't have been. The boy was a mountain! They collided, his shoulder landing just as he wished. The softer target prevented his own shoulder from being jammed but the impact would definitely leave its fair share of bruising on Skaelingr for his trouble. The brutes jaws twisted down and open but Skaelingr's momentum was already carrying him up. He was committed so he made the smallest of adjustments. Rotating his head up just slightly and over he sought to catch Dominus' lower jaw betwixt his own, his lower fangs on the left side of the jaw, his upper fangs on the right [counter]. He wanted to clamp down hard and limit his opponents ability to bite him back. Perhaps he could even crack the jawbone and bring the fight to a swift end. Shifting his weight to his hind legs at the same time he adjusted his jaws he sought to wrap both his forearms around the base of the boy's neck, seeking to stabilize himself and position his body in a way that he could feel the bulk movements of his opponent. This battle of fangs, this dancing of jaws so key to how his kind fought. It was exhilarating.
