Do you feel that I can see your soul?

The pair of them stood frozen for a long moment, each one transfixed with the other. Like two deer meeting in the forest, long legs and an almost spirit like quality. One wrong move and the other might disappear. Thoth didn’t miss how she pulled her head up and basked under his gaze. She had more resolve than he did, and was the first to break the spell. Her delicate paws weaving carefully as she approached timidly. His precious metal gaze locked with her pale blue sapphire eyes.

He blinked as she took a step forward, and he found himself unable to resist the urge to do the same. With an elegant grace Thoth’s divine limbs pulled him closer, two steps to her one. The mortal god continued to struggle with his words as his eyes strayed from hers and again lingered on her thin frame.

”Who are you?” He whispered unceremoniously, half impressed he could say anything at all. Again his paws drew him forward, the feeling that he needed to be beside her grew stronger. It was different to the feeling he had with Nephthys or his half siblings. The emotion, the… intuition.. was deeper and much more obvious in this mortal state.
