Do you feel that I can see your soul?

She was quiet, beautiful, and a complete mystery as Thoth couldn’t tear his gaze away from her. His youth was his excuse for being so inept, he could barely function as he felt himself fall under a spell. He couldn't call the experience painful or uncomfortable at all though. Even if given a chance Thoth would have jumped in full heartedly. She seemed to pause, unable to bring herself closer to him like she was waiting for permission. They remained quiet for a long few moments, Thoth’s brilliant gaze still lingering on her perfect pelt. ”I am but a humble servant, dedicated to the gods." He hadn’t known what he was expecting, but her answer seemed to click into place perfectly.
He found his confidence again and his divinity shone through as he adjusted himself. Ears perked perfectly as he lifted his head with grace. He lifted his frozen form and allowed himself to finish closing the distance between them. If she allowed it he’d come nose to nose with her, only barely managing to resist pushing his chest against hers.
”What name was bestowed upon you?” He whispered, sure she might disappear if he spoke too loud. ”I stand before you in this mortal body, Thoth Anhk Ithuriel, Lord of Knowldge.” Such was his position in the heavens, so as his place here in the mortal realm. While his loyalty no longer lingered in Ra’s possession he still followed the Pharoah Nephthys. Though many questions lingered within, and he still had much to remember before he would feel fully divine once more.
