Try it if it feels right

Muses followed Riva back to the south western Kesali borders, her singsong tone rising and falling as the girls chatted along the way. While the smaller wolf ventured into the pack domain, the ivory female waited patiently, sitting upright in the tall grass. With the peach and cream tones of her fur, she blended in surprisingly well. Looking around, she tried to imagine what life was like in the area. The ground was so flat, and there were no trees whatsoever. The weather just happened to be overcast and muggy, but relatively tolerable, but even Muses knew that under the glaring sun, crossing such an exposed expanse of land could be dangerous. Gulping nervously, she looked around for Riva, but to her dismay, noticed that the diminutive dame was nowhere in sight. Reluctantly, she settled in for the long wait.
Lifting her pitch nose, she tasted the air, mouth parting, and whiskers twitching as she tried to process the information that nearly overwhelmed her. Everything was so unfamiliar that she could barely tease apart her own sent from everything else. Exasperated, she gave up, flinging herself into the grass, rolling in the foliage to give her back a good scratch. Although she was no longer a puppy, she was clearly still young, her patience short, and her ability to stay perfectly still for arbitrary reasons nearly non-existent.
