she followed quietly after Deathbelle, her gaze never leaving the back of the other woman. this could be a trick, a more desperate and untrusting Heloise would claim, though there was no notion to believe such a thing. the other wolf merely wished to help her - perhaps it was the blood loss making her think it. or the blow to her head. pausing as the other made to get their stash, her eyes blinked wearily over their surroundings before resting on the ebony woman as she came back.

"pardon me; but what are they?" Heloise asked as the herbs were deposited before her. she'd bend her head to sniff curiously at them, though she wouldn't put them in her stomach without knowing what they were used for. they did not smell like poison though she was woefully inept to know what a poisonous herb looked like. to her untrained eye, they were regular plants. she hoped her question had not offended the other woman; she only wished to know what they were used to do so she could prepare herself mentally. if they made her drowsy, for instance, she'd attempt to find a safe place to rest.
