She was silent as he spoke about his insecurities and she quieted for a long moment. He wasn’t sure if he had said too much, or the wrong thing, and his anxiety spiked before he nuzzled back into her belly. She was quickly becoming some kind of antidote to his uncomfortable emotions, and he didn’t know if he’d be able to deny her even with his reluctance at being confined.

Eris made her attempt to soothe his worries as she told him of the reality she offered to him. ”..our hearts, our innermost being...the body is free” He let them wash over him like her soothing scent. He sighed heavily into her side as he relaxed against her. ”I’d like that.” He gently pressed his nose to her cheek as it was his turn to soothe her. ”So, what does it take to… bind our souls?” He asked somewhat cheekily as he repeated her dreamy phrase. ”Does it have anything to do with taking a nap?” His eyelids were growing heavier the longer they spoke. She had him as a captive audience for a few days, he could offer up his prayer or whatever later.
