There was a voice that he ignored right away. Ever one to be absorbed in his work, Holland rooted around the ground without a word to the other being that approached him. Murmuring herbal usages and their potency under his breath, along with a few words in his native tongue, he looked to be quite a madman. At least his fur was clean, and his eyes were sharp, else others would think that strongly. Only when the stranger piped up again did he lift his pale gaze from the ground to look at the ivory-gold form of the other. There was nothing outstanding about them. A distinctive male scent with some foreign qualities but that was all it was to him. ”Yes.” he uttered, deep yet quiet tones reaching the other regardless of volume. He kept his voice civil despite not giving much information away. Or at all.

His eyes went to the ground again. The herbal scent of the other wolf was enough to tell the young man that this was a healer or associated with foliage in some way. It was only because of that did he go on, else he felt it fruitless to talk about plants with someone who didn’t care for them. ”Dandelion” Holland added in, still not looking at the other being. He wasn’t exactly great with social situations and wasn’t even going to suggest they look together. It really wasn’t this guy’s problem what Holland did or didn’t do. It wasn’t Holland’s problem what the other did or didn’t do. They were but strangers, passing during this humid summer weather. ”though considering the season, I’d like to collect some marigold too.” it was useful with insect bites, and boy were they out in full force already.

But it was also very good for burns, cuts and other such things that were bleeding. Common usage and easily found. An ear flickered idly as his eyes lifted once more. ”Do you, uh… know where some are?”

holland is not a nice character typically; his views do not reflect my own.
