Belle ran to him. The night was young and she was wide awake, like her brother she chose to be most active in the darker hours. A symptom of her life in the desert and desert like conditions. While she had not remained at his side, they didn’t lose each other completely, and she was on the edge of hearing his call. The Klein princess loped smoothly to Roman’s side, her magenta gaze falling on him eagerly.
She didn’t hesitate until she was at his side, eagerly pressing herself into his side as she nuzzled her head beneath his chin. A startling contrast to their first meeting in these lands. Her ivory tail wagged pleasedly and she whined in quiet happiness. Knowing Roman was still on her side after losing Hannibal gave her hope. She smiled gently as her mismatched ears fell to her head. She didn’t remove herself from her brother’s shoulder, instead clung to him tightly. Deathbelle had taken over raising their niece Banshee, and she couldn’t remember if she’d told him or not.
”Roman,” she purred through royal lips. ”It’s so good to see you.”
