she'd march on, her short legs trying to catch up to where she last saw the band. it had been a day or so since she arrived in this realm and so far she was totally not impressed. it was too hot down south, and somehow she got separated from Valkyrie and the others as they trekked along. the woman would go in circles before finding herself here, with only sheets of ice for company. "fokk! fokk... fokk... fokk!" she'd swear in her native tongue, stomping around the snow with her tail raised high with indignance. now how was she going to find the rest of them? she didn't exactly have skills in navigation. hell, she lived underground most of her life. there was just... dirt. and rocks. and ore. you didn't need to tell them apart. all the tunnels were pretty much straightforward, with carved markings on the side of the walls to let them all know where they were. that wasn't here. this was just too... ugh. "damn it" Dutch'd hiss, lifting her head to call out for any of the Hjarrandi that could be nearby. what a great first impression she was making. the band's craftswoman, getting lost in a new place. she knew she shouldn't have stopped to... damn, she didn't even remember what had caught her attention now. something shiny, probably. woe be it should some predator come along, mistaking her for a deer or even some rodent and trying to kill her. stupid short legs. stupid... tall people! everyone was so tall here. she felt even more like a dwarf. |
