Holland was mildly impressed.

Which was saying a lot since he rarely got impressed with other people. The other wolf seemed to have a head for healing, causing him to focus entirely on him as he spoke. “leaf pattern…” he’d utter, more to himself than anything. It helped that the roots were more useful than the bulb itself, but he couldn’t exactly recall what a dandelion’s leaves looked like. It was one of those widespread flowers that even he didn’t pay much attention to. “thank you” he nodded to the young man. He didn’t need to tell him he had been looking for parsley though; it seemed the heat had killed every piece of it off. “I was trying to find something that was useful for asthma and coughing originally.” He’d shake his head with a sigh.

When it came to discussing plants, he was more certain of himself. More confident. Watching as the man closed the distance, he’d bend his head to look at the greenery. “Marshmallow would be a good substitute but I don’t think it grows here” he hadn’t picked up the scent nor seen any flowering plants. “then again… it grows only in wet places” which this place had none of. Especially with the summer’s sun beating down on them. Raising a brow, he’d look at the exotic wolf again before continuing. “do you have a recommendation?” Holland didn’t have much of an ego when it came to healing knowledge. If he found someone that knew what they were talking about, he’d talk and ask questions better than speaking about hunting or fighting.
