She didn’t miss the exuberance of the other wolf on the beach. Unlike when she had appeared here with Cordelia the night was clear and she could see him in the flashes of light. He was far from quiet, and did nothing to conceal himself. Belle’s magenta gaze found him as he raced over the glassy sand. Unfortunately for the Klein Princess his attention shifted to her royal form. She steeled herself, already having written him off as less than a threat. Maybe a minor inconvenience at best and an annoyance at worst.
Belle held herself daintily, chest puffed and ivory tail wrapped around her decorated paws as she took him in. His colors were plain but he seemed attractive enough. However, his eyes were pure pupil and she smelled the mushrooms on his breath. When she was a yearling the girl had experimented with the hallucinogen, however the wolf that gave them to her had cultivated them herself. She had never been fond of the wild ones found in bovine shit.
”Hello,” she answered as she watched him from the top of her sculpted nose. She didn’t understand the word he called her, but with his follow up she couldn’t imagine it was an insult. ”I’m sure it's being done all for me,” if he was going to encourage her Deathbelle wouldn’t deny the compliments. She eyed him from her half lidded gaze, unsure what she might benefit from this encounter. ”What are you doing here while the gods dance for me?” Belle returned quizzically.
