Oxygen for your Eulogy

She couldn't believe it. Here she was freshly healed from the fire and the wonderful head injury she had sustained and as the season turned her body decided to give her another heat season. Not that her heat was anything she worried about, no one seemed to bother her in the pack so she had gained a false sense of security.


Today she started by visiting her brother to make sure he didn't want her to be den bound more then she set off. She wasn't sure where she was going she just followed the river. The day was beautiful and she soon had forgot all about her heat. It was after all something she had dealt with before and ignoring it always worked best. By the time the sun was high in the sky and noon had settled upon the land she was outside of the pack land. She wasn't worried though. She knew how she got here at least. She paused briefly and the brief pause was enough to allow what she hadn't known was stalking her to make its move. By the time she realized it she felt a shoulder push her into the cold shallows. When she looked back a large male was there menacingly looking down upon her. His coat was matted and mismatched. His eyes were cold and dark red. Her ears pressed back and tail tucked.


He let out a laugh as he snapped his teeth into her scruff and she let out a yelp as he dragged her ashore again. What even should she do? She didn't know how to fight. Her only hope as the Male was dragging her away was that someone would happen upon her and help.
