Still a bit frazzled by his recent stay in the gully Oxide was more than eager to continue to stretch his silvery paws. Though he enjoyed Eris’ company more than he ever would admit the boy had slipped away for some alone time. The day was full on when he found himself at the falls, his rusted form pulled from the slightly brown foliage in time to see the struggle take place at the edge of the water. The boy had done more than his good deed for the year, having saved Eris twice. He was still a little stiff from the effects of that one. The wolverine left its mark for sure.
Garents gaze watched for another moment as he debated his next move, though he had paid dearly the last time he’d attempted to interfere. There was something about her though, the heady scent that lingered here reminded him of the girls Deimos liked to bring around. Oxide was beginning to realize the appeal of a ‘bitch in heat’ as his uncle often said.
After spending so much time in Eris presence he didn’t like the way the scene made him feel. The thought of the girl in the wolf’s jaws being her or Riva even, set his hackles upright. Oxide was well fed and well kept, he’d easily be able to take on the boney stranger that dragged the tiny girl from the water. Oxide knew there was a pack nearby, if she was one of their he knew some kind of reward was likely to come his way.
”Aye there beasty, put her down. She doesn’t seem keen to go with your scrawny ass.”
