She watched and couldn't help but tremble at the sight before her as it turned bloody and deadly. She would never admit it but she did sort of recognize the probably rabid would be rapist. She'd tell Rhyme but he had so much to do still. He shouldn't be worrying over the rest of the world. Besides hopefully the male would make it away and never return, death was too harsh for anyone.
She watched as the pied male spat out the clump of blood, skin and fur. She tried to back further into the tree, managing to only put her hindquarters on the ground and press her back to the tree. Her ears pressed back. His voice came and she was unsure at first. It definitely probably showed on her face. She contemplated it for a moment before she relaxed to just stay sitting against the tree. The way he said for now wasn't exactly reassuring though.
"Thanks," her voice was lowered like always and soft. She dropped her eyes to his white paws as she spoke as well. Unspoken submission was there.
