she raised a back leg to scratch idly at the side of her face, all the while her eyes never left the stranger. he seemed amused by her reaction, which only encouraged her to be more entertaining. "straight to pleasantries, eh? can't say I blame ya" Dutch asked with a wide smirk as she lowered her leg back down. maybe he was more of a stereotypical gentleman than she could ever hope to be. or maybe she assumed he would want her to explain herself. sharing a cave with a strange wolf was probably something her Ma taught her not to do. but she was on the surface now. she was optimistic that not everyone was a terrible person. but he asked her a question, didn't he? "I'm Dutch" the dwarf replied to it easily enough "sorry for the random ass sentences; just wanted to make sure you weren't going to go all alpha guy on me and throw me out of this place" not that he was an alpha by rank, but because some guys had this... weird thing about dominance. they didn't even like to share the general vicinity of land. boy oh boy. "cause I found it first" her grin widened even more as she addressed him so casually. it was clear she wasn't dominating herself. she just made a statement. "not that it matters. mi casa su casa." she didn't own this cave. "so, who're you?" |
