Rhyme appeared to her side as she sat taking her break. She was well aware of him as he came up beside her. He made certain not to startle her by speaking her name. She looked to him and gave him a smile as she addressed him in return. Good morning Rhyme. she had been dutifully working on her den now long enough that the sun was taking its trek through the sky, painting the sky beautiful golds and oranges. She shook the dirt from her head once more as she sat beside her brother. This tree was like his except it wasn't a maple, it was a sitka Spruce, an ancient looking tree as well. She'd chosen well she felt. She knew Rhyme was apprehensive about her children but she was too happy to really think much about the way they had come to be. Besides if Rhyme had had a problem with it he could of ordered her to purge them and honestly she wouldnt of went against him. Though she would of hated him for it for the rest of their lives she felt. She leaned her enlargening frame into his as she sighed happily. Even if he disapproved of the way her children had come to be she didnt feel like he would hate them for her own actions. She was most comfortable with his presence. Speech |
