He looked in the direction that Zee’s eyes wondered, towards the ravine where the earth fell away, and the dens of himself, Zee and Deathbelle could be found. He raised a brow at his words. It had been some days since she had last been to his den, so she hadn’t seen the work he had spent on it. “I’ve already begun to increase its size, I never intended to stop there.” he promised her, getting to his feet with a groan. Zee’s care had dried some of the lake water from him, but his underside was still soaked. He shook it as best he could to clear the rest, before moving after Zee.
He watched her grab the sack, and he himself went for the birds, grabbing multiple in his mouth, so they dangled past his gums. He gave his head a quick jerk, and Marshall wheeled in the sky, and plummeted down to land on Sirius’s back.
Unable to speak past his mouthful, the giant simply walked up beside Zee, gave her a nudge, and began to head in the direction of the ravine. It was uncomfortable, walking with a swan and two ducks in his maw, but he was tall enough that they where no tripping hazard to him. They made it down the ravine, and stopped at his den, which had discarded stones outside he had not yet moved. He went into the den entrance, and moved through its abrupt turn, and made his way towards the back of the den. It was still small, but it was easy to see where it had been enlarged since last time she was here.
