Deathbelle made it clear that he still had a place in her service, but that he had freedom and rights. She spoke of him returning to her side like it was a choice, like something could make him chose not to return to her. Never once for a moment had he entertained the idea. He had fought death, and walked hundreds of miles, slowly strengthening muscles from nothing but the desire to see her again.
However, the idea that he might not have to obey the orders of a Klein if he did not wish to was.. Interesting to him. Well Deathbelles orders where law in his heart, he could do with some freedom from her family. The idea that he would not have to punish Zee - which Deathbelle had already spoken out in her defence - was also enticing. He would choose to help the family of course, however he saw fit, and would always treat them with respect.
“I will do my best by you Deathbelle, it’ll be a change, a hurtle to overcome, but your right that this is a new world. I want to serve you as best I can, to stand by you and help you achieve greatness. If you think I can do this best as a Samurai, then I will do so.” he promised her. He started to walk again, to return to her side, so he could place a kiss against one of her paws, and smile sadly up at her. No matter how this turned out, he knew he would never be worthy of her, but he would still cherish this gift. “I would also like to shelter Zee, she has spirit unlike any slave I have seen before, and applies it well to caring for you, I think it would be a shame for her to be broken.” he said. He couldn’t wait to tell her this change in events. “What duties exactly do you expect from your Samurai?” he would ask as he began to walk beside her again.
