Well, that didn’t exactly go to plan. He expected ee to stand there and give him smack, and for him to try not to roll his eyes, take most of it, and then push her into fighting anyway. Instead, she gave him a fearful expression, and booked it across the water, and jumping up onto a boulder on the other side. She looked down at him, and challenged him. He made a hurumph noise out his mouth as he watched her, and gave his head a soft shake.

He was tempted to use brute force, and throw a dominance fight down onto her, to force her to see how much she needed to learn, and submit to him, at least for the duration of learning a fighting lesson. However, he didn’t think that was going to work long term. He could always come back to that idea if things proved difficult… he wasn’t outright dismissing it.

“Very well then.” he said, not one to back down from a challenge, and with a back up plan under his chin, the brute would unleash himself, and dive into the water on powerful back legs. Moving like a freight train through the ravine, throwing himself up the boulder with a great deal of ease (it was a lot smaller to him) and already preparing to launch himself off it and tackle her to the ground if she was in range. She might get a little bruised by his arrest, but he didn’t believe she would hurt herself seriously.
