What would a summer festival be without a <b>fishing derby</b>? Go try to fish up something from the waters, but be warned.. more than just fish lurk in those depths! Rumor has it that a mysterious, freakishly large golden fish has been spotted off the shores, and the lucky participant to catch this particular fish will be rewarded something extra special!

<div class=tcat>How To Play</div>

<ul><li>Go fishing! Please thread with at least one other player, not with yourself.</li>

<li>As long as your character is actively hunting something in the water, you're able to attempt to catch a fish <u>once per post</u>. Your post will be edited by admins to note that an attempt to fish has been made.</li>

<li>While the posts need to be fishing-focused in order for a fishing attempt to be made, other things can certainly be happening during these threads - conversation, fishing lessons, etc. Feel free to use these for skill claims as long as they apply!</li>

<li>Once your character catches 10 fish, they'll be too exhausted to continue fishing for the rest of the festival!</li>

<li>If they're a Beginner Hunter or higher, with at least 5 skill points in hunting, they can catch one extra fish!</li>

<li><i>Each attempt will be randomly rolled, with a chance of success/failure, as well as a roll for fish size. Heavier fish will be worth more tickets!</i></li>
