Artur could barely keep his muzzle from wrinkling in disgust as the drunkard in an offensive display of inebriation. The red-eyed male was welcome to him at this point, as far as the Adravendi was concerned. He had put out quite enough effort to protect the foul-mouthed little beggar's hide, the ingrate, and he wasnt going to stick his neck out any further for no gain. "Have it your way," he sneered, but before he could turn away and leave him to the ass-kicking he was clearly begging for, the ungrateful bastard staggered into him, and took a swipe at his legs!

Taken by surprise Artur threw his weight back onto his haunches, taking it off the forelegs the male was trying to jerk out from under him. He lifted his forepaws over Dag's assault and shoved hard against the male's chest with them, seeking to knock the smaller Dag off his already-unsteady feet. As his mind caught up with his reflexes to process what was happening, a burst of fury crystalized in a sharp-edged fire in his chest. How dare he attack the only one who had stopped to rescue him? A deep, shuddering snarl ripped it's way from his throat, and Artur unveiled his hindquarters to launch him at the drunkard in retaliation, aiming to come down on him with his forelegs stiffened to slam all of Artur's weight against him, his jaws seeking to rip at Dag's eyes in a fury.
