Firefly Festival: The Starting Line

Sparrow found the place where the race was supposed to start. Her dad had led here here, but as soon as she saw it, she took the lead. There were so many fireflies! And so many wolves! Sparrow had to get focused! She had to get ready! This was her chance to show everyone how fast and agile she was. She was going to have to be fast to one day be king of the pirates! Today was a great day to practice and to show her dad that she was ready to take on the position! The thought of losing never even crossed her mind, though in reality her chances of winning weren't great. For now, she was just ready.
