Brandr quietly moved to the starting like, nodding politely at those he made eye contact with. He really wasn't a sprinter but it was a lovely night for a run and the exercise certainly wouldn't hurt. If he could just shake this troublesome cough. It had been dogging him since the fire and he was fairly certain it had something to do with smoke inhalation. He probably just needed a bit more time. Stretching light, Brandr sought to limber up a bit before the race. He'd need everything he could get in order to run his best race. Really, his goal was just to not end up in last place.
