she couldn't help but giggle softly. it was her first real giggle in a long time, and it felt good. intentional or not.

"Tornadic... um" Heloise began, wondering how to break it to him. break it...? oh gods above. now she was getting started on such puns. "do you really want your spear to be named after the, uh, passing of wind?" such lowbrow humor too but fine for a child his age. he didn't seem to know the problem, how the other children (and adults) may laugh at his spear. she chose to be upfront with him. "how about something else instead?"

there were a plethora of wind-related names to use. it also could be something quite simple. Tornadic... wind... Torn-something. maybe even Tor-something. "Torment?" she suggested, feeling it was a good enough name for any weapon. one tormented their foes with a spear before biting deep into them with their jaws... perhaps her warrior-side was showing. "Chinook?" she kept it quite simple for him. a wind-related name was good, but she still liked 'Torment'. though she could see it was a bit inappropriate for a child.
