"good. t' rabbits n' small rodents are returning too" he'd cast blue eyes around them, noticing the tell-tale signs of new burrows. a rabbit or two may not feed the whole pack, but it was better than nothing. as someone who kept stalking the territory for new food sources, it felt prudent to tell Brandr. "s' good sign t' elk are" he'd try to smile, feeling it awkwardly given. the larger animals would be the first to flee during the fire. it was a sign of Abaven's survival they return. that the territory could still support them all. "lead t' way." he'd walk closer and fell in with the other hunter, waiting for Brandr to lead. |
