to the bat cave

Amaretto was wandering the island in search of fireflies. Admittedly she was doing a little sightseeing too. The island was very pretty and she'd put in a lot of effort to get to it, so why not enjoy all it had to offer? She'd been told that somewhere close by was a cave where bats lived. Bats were creatures she'd only ever heard of and she was curious about both them and the place they called home. Perhaps after the lightning bug game she'd make a point to investigate their cave. But first she had to find it. Her eyes roved the tall tropical trees as she scanned her surroundings for flashing lights. She was multitasking which probably put her at a disadvantage in the competition, but she couldn't help it. Amaretto wanted to find the bat cave just as much as she wanted to win the game. Spying a cluster of tiny yellow-green lights, she swung her bag at it carefully. She wanted to catch the bugs, not smash them. |
Amaretto has a male cotton top tamarin named Georgi who is with her at all times unless stated otherwise.
