Rosemary toppled over and quickly moved to shield himself with his paws, his ears pinning back and his tail tucking to act as a barrier between him and his brother, a small if not playful smile on his features as he curled inward, his jaws reaching forward to snap lightly at Hannibal. This brooding was unbecoming for him, he wanted him to smile, he wanted to lift his spirits and watch him grin with satisfaction over a victory. Bruises ached along his back and shoulders but he still had no intent of harming a hair on Hannibal’s head if he could help it.
