He tossed his catch onto the bank with a satisfied grin and returned his attention to the female. “What of yourself? You seem to be faring well.” He cooed The rat lept from his back, duo heads peeking above the water as it paddled over to the woman, noses twitching in unison as they investigated her. “Don’t be afraid, they’re quite friendly.” He assured her, shaking his fur out once and letting it fall neatly back into place.
