"HaHA!" he exclaimed as he pulled another writhing trout from the water. As he had with the first one, Armando carefully shimmied it into the bag and then slid it off the stick. He was quite pleased with the double pronged spear so far. It was making his task a lot easier.
"I don't see why not. You could hold it in your teeth." He shrugged and then hefted the stick up to inspect the tines. "But then you couldn't use those pearly whites so I suppose there's a trade off. If you're like me and you don't want to get wet, well, it just might work for you. Or," he said absently, "If you want distance between yourself and whatever it is you're poking."
With a grunt Armando stabbed at another passing fish. Boy this was hard on his arms.

Armando has a female tufted titmouse companion. It doesn't have a name because it's dumb and doesn't deserve one. Assume it's with him always.
