Amaretto surfaced with a water-spraying snort and quickly found her footing. It was tempting to shake out her coat but she resisted the urge. It would have been pointless; she would soon be diving into the water and soaking her fur all over again.
"Or we just see who catches more by the end of this," he shot back. Amaretto was quick to agree. "Fair enough." Prepare to lose. "What does the winner get?"
