Firefly Festival: The Starting Line

The scent of so many wolves leading to one place is what drew her in. She was a loner and word of such an event never reached her ears, but she knew a race when she saw one.

Light on her paws like she always was, she seemed to glide in behind the large teen that came just before her. She tried her best not to make a sound, but she was just as curious as he was on how well she'd fair against the rest. She had an inherited agility on her side, her frame was tall but skinny with long legs seemingly made for running.

It'd been awhile since she'd pushed herself to her limits, but she couldn't help but grin and get herself prepared to do it all over once again. Her head lowered to align with her fluffy shoulders and her tail wagged excitedly behind her.
