Go Miles

He could hear Altair following behind him, hear her legs disturbing the waves. It was low tide, but she was so much smaller than him... the thought of how hard it would be for her to fight the current herself did not cross his mind. He turned himself around so he could keep an eye on her and watch out for any chance that she would be in danger. It felt odd being so protective of someone, but that was part of sharing company with them right? At least, little pipsqueaks like this.

He chuckled as he called her a pipsqueak in his head and watched as a fish defeated her and sent her down into the water. She was soaked all over again and he could not stop laughing. He stepped forward and pressed his nose into her side as she stood up, if she would let him. He wanted to help her get up, even if he was laughing- after all, he wanted to help her get better!

"Nice, but try again! I am sure there's gotta be some fish you can outsmart and outpower in here." He looked down at his paws as another flash of silver stole his attention. Another pounce was given, and he'd go back to attempting to swipe the fish right out of the water and back onto shore. It was a tactic he got from watching bears in streams, but his paws were big enough and the fish plentiful enough here on these shores, he found pretending to be a bear quite easy.
