Score! Thalia let out a cheer of accomplishment as she tackled Theory, though the sound was soon muffled by the splashing water, which drenched her completely now. As she scrambled to her paws, she shook out her coat - mostly her face - to keep the salt water from dripping into her eyes. Likewise, she tried to maintain her balance as she straightened out her legs and felt her paws hit the sand once again. She barely even cared that they'd scared away some fish - so what? At least she'd managed to shake Theory a bit, who finally sounded annoyed at her rather than annoyingly confident. It was a success, at least in her book. "They'll come back," she argued swiftly. She wouldn't be blamed for any failed fishing attempts, even if Theory tried! But she sounded like she wanted to fight... Thalia cocked her head, straightening her posture. "Maybe afterwards. I'm not done fishing," she answered seriously, twisting away from Theory to search for another fish. She was right - she'd scared some of them off, so she'd have to wade out a bit deeper to find one, to where her paws no longer touched the bottom, but once she was out there she dove underneath and went to snap at one below the surface. |
