He turned to face the wolf, a fish still in his jaws and lifted his tail in a gentle wag, dropping his catch on the sandy shore. “Yes it is, though I suppose with it being so close to the ocean that isn’t much of a surprise.” He spoke, trying not to look directly into the male’s blind eye. His courtesies from his homeland hadn’t fully abandoned him yet although he had noticed his speech had become less formal. He meant to spend more time with his siblings to reacquaint himself with the silvered tongue of a diplomat but it seemed any time he tried he was pulled away- not entirely against his will- by Célestin.

“My name is Pegasus Beaufort, who do I have the privilege of speaking to?” He asked, forcing as much of his old speech into his words as possible. Without any hesitation his blue eyes locked on a silvery fish cutting through the waves and with a pounce the golden wolf lept for it.
