Didn't see that one coming

The walk with Sirius was mostly silent, the two were still coming to terms with the new arrangement and receiving Deathbelle's blessing and so it was natural that they'd struggle to find words to say to each other. At least, that's what Zee told herself up until Sirius poked his head towards the den and said his piece.

"Sirius!" She reprimanded, voice pitchy with disbelief. "It has been what, five whole minutes? Good lord, Seer. Wife!" The small wolf scoffed haughtily, her head shaking as she moved past him so that she could reach the den first. "Ignore him, please. He only wants to return home." Hastily she tried to recover from Sirius' over-eager title, making sure that as soon as she crossed the door to the home and saw Luce that she performed a curt bow of respect.

Bow completed, she straightened herself and turned to look at Sirius behind her, eyes narrowed. She lowered her voice so she might be able to whisper her disbelief at him. "Perhaps no one told you, but it's generally polite to propose before declaring yourself wed." Her head shook once more at the shenanigans, and then turned back to see what Luce might say.

"Speech"
