ft noir, border meeting

She didn’t seem alarmed, but he didn’t make himself threatening either. She hadn’t crossed over the border so he couldn’t do anything anyway. Noir was on house arrest, he couldn’t step a toe over the border without losing all his progress. If he wanted to be able to walk out of here at a year old he had to behave and follow all the rules. It sucked. Noir was miserable, but that would make escape that much sweeter.
What she said didn’t make much sense to the boy, it seemed like she was mostly talking to herself. Sky colored wolves? Yeah he had nice blue striped, but all blue? He did was slate, as was Poem, and even Shaye had a bit of a blue tint to her. He tilted his head curiously, but at that point she had lost her interest.
Dark brows furrowed as she turned away, vowing not to bother Abaven anymore. ”Good, I didn’t want to talk to you anyway.” He tried not to show her that the opposite was true, he liked to know about the world outside the borders. Especially since he wasn’t allowed past them often. He tried not to give her a longing glance as she went. He was too prideful to call her back.
