Dea held herself in a formal posture as the darker female came to her. Archon had tried to warn her, and in truth part of what he had said was the reason for her delay. As the other woman came closer, Dea's eyes travelled briefly to the distended roundness of her stomach, and the words clicked. He had made a blood pact, within days of coming to her. It felt as if she had been speared in her chest, though on the outside she held a stony, guarded expression. A graceful smile was brought to Dea's face, one that would easily be recognizable by those who knew her, but to others it would seem almost friendly - albeit formal. As Deathbelle spoke, Dea found herself listening with a feigned politeness.
"I am Dea, yes. I am of the Fallen Band. I adhere to the ways of the Fallen God, and follow Archon in faith." A familiar form came into view and Dea's entire demeanor shifted from stiff formality to openly adoring and friendly. The shift was not hidden, and Dea gave Archon the brightest of genuine smiles. "I made a promise to walk by your side, Archon, and I intend to keep it. Can't go back now!" A small laugh was given, and a soft thump against the ground signaled her tail waving. She felt a little better having Archon there, some females got weird when pups were involved. Dea had made her promise out of love for Archon and a shared love for their God, she had made the blood oath before their God, and she would keep it.
