She needed to be more careful? She was being careful. That was why she'd come here! But arguing with the leader of the Empire wasn't something she was willing to do, even if she disagreed with being sent back to her den.. like a pup, she thought bitterly to herself. She did her best to hide a scowl, though she nodded in sullen agreement as she stood, moving alongside him. "I was being careful," she argued, though tried to keep her voice even and not completely argumentative; the way her ears flattened against her skull showed she was being dismissive, though was still standing up for herself.. in the only way she felt she could, given the circumstances. "It's in one of the rooms of the castle. I'll show you," she said quietly, mostly because she wasn't sure exactly how to describe where she and her family had their den. She was just beginning to branch out of the castle, in all honesty, and though she knew around the inside fairly well, she definitely wasn't sure how to describe any of it to him. 'Where's your den?" Thalia asked after a moment, mostly just curious as they drew away from Malleus and Desdemona. Didn't hurt to get know the other members of the Empire, right? |
